Join us on April 8th for this rare opportunity in NY Harbor. Come cruise with us and view this rare event in NY Harbor: a NYC Solar eclipse of the sun (weather permitting). A solar eclipse happens when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, completely blocking the face of the Sun. Here in New York City we will see a partial eclipse, with 71% of the sun covered by the moon. The first contact of the moon passing in front of the sun is at 2:10pm, the maximum coverage is at 3:25pm and the final contact is at 4:36pm. We will provide you with protective eyewear as it’s important to never look directly at the sun without proper eye protection. This will be the best seat in the house to view this NYC Solar eclipse!
